US Digestive Health at Lewes

I am a new patient at this practice in Lewes De and process from getting started to my first visit was seamless and a pleasant experience. All those I interacted with, Christy, Cameron, Wendy Carter, PA-C Ken Bannon, were friendly, caring and knowledgeable. When I met with Ken I was very impressed with his bedside manner, his knowledge and skill, and how quickly he assessed a treatment plan for me on my first visit. I left with assurances that I am in good hands at this practice.

I can not believe this place has a 4.8 rating - they are one of the WORST group of providers I’ve ever encountered. They offer online scheduling only to call you either seconds after you’ve scheduled, or the day before your appointment, to say the provider isn’t in that day or your appointment needs to be rescheduled. My daughter was in the ED due to GI issues and was ordered a few tests with a follow up scheduled for 2 MONTHS (not weeks) later. Meanwhile she has lost 20+ lbs since the start of this (now weighing less than 100lbs) in late Sept. She has attempted to schedule an earlier appointment, to no avail. Dr. Baig is the doctor who I saw and who performed a pre and post diagnosis endoscopies. He was very thorough in the medical care he provided me with a script to have preliminary bloodwork, an abdomen ultrasound, and an endoscopy to diagnose a peptic ulcer. It was treated by a prescribed medicine and then confirmed it had healed by doing a second endoscopy 8 weeks later without any further treatment necessary. Dr. Baig was generous with his time answering my questions and explaining the test results. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others who have gastrointestinal problems.

OMG this practice has it all together. I was taken back to my room and told the Doc was running late. Every 15 minutes the nurse stopped by and said he’s getting there. Then the DR came in and reviewed my tests with me. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my tests results. He explained insurance won’t pay for additional testing unless I have serious problems. We talked about my next appointment in 5 years. Highly recommend this practice (especially waiting over 12 weeks for Beebe to schedule the same procedure)

Outstanding experience. Dr. Caruso is phenomenal. Very thorough, patient and caring. Dr. Caruso’s entire staff is top notch!
