Urgent Care - Wilton Medical Arts

Great bedside manners. Gender affirming verbiage. Terrible with products and instructions given to me for my severely sprained ankle. Crutches that broke less than a week later, and an ace bandage that's doing nothing to keep my ankle in place while it's healing. No information on recovery time, I asked if I'd be healed in 2-3 weeks and their only answer was "depends on you" with a shrug. If you have sprains or broken bones, DO NOT GO HERE! They will be the least helpful regarding getting you what you need. Go to OrthoNY or the Bone and Joint center in Malta if you can.

Absolutely ludicrous behavior from the receptionist. She opted to tell me "There's no optometrist." If I wouldn't have shown the letter I had, she would have let me walk out without the information that it's the next building over. For some reason, the address made all the difference in the information this receptionist was willing to give me to help my boy get to his appointment. That was straight up dirty.

I authorized my child to be taken to "urgent care" at the suggestion of a camp nurse. My child was seen and given a flu/covid test as expected. I also would have expected to pay in full due to not having NY coverage except for emergencies. So, maybe $150 to be seen and $75 for swab. No more than $225! My insurance was charged around $1,600.00 (of which I have to pay nearly $800.00). They saw my insurance card and charged as an Emergency Room. But I was sent a survey from an "urgent care".

Easily the worst billing department I’ve ever had to deal with. So incompetent that it inspired me to do my first google review I’ve ever done. Rude and refuses to send contact insurance company to correct paperwork they’ve sent over, leaving me stuck with the bill. Honestly you’d think you were dealing with the dmv. Been to many urgent cares over course of the years and this is only place that’s ever been an issue.

Wilton Medical Arts Urgent Care is head and shoulders above any others in the area. I drive past a few others just to go here. The staff are friendly, efficient, competent and kind. I was recently seen there during an evening where they were clearly very busy (as almost every urgent care is these days). From the front desk to my nurse Colleen, tech Blaine, and Doctor Ross, everyone was so helpful and genuinely nice. Though there was a wait due to the volume of patients, I was quickly triaged. I later received some IV fluid and other medications and left feeling SO much better than when I arrived. The facility is clean and welcoming. You can also tell by the way the staff speak to each other, that they truly work as a team and treat their colleagues with respect. Keep it up because it real
