Urgent Care West

I’ve been here twice. Excellent service with both providers I saw. Would recommend and sending family members again. Glad to have a good urgent care on the west side of Owensboro!

If you’re in urgent need, don’t go to this place! I arrived with my husband at this so-called urgent care center after he had an accident at work. He was in severe pain, with a bleeding finger, missing a piece, yet he was made to fill out multiple forms while two receptionists simply smiled and laughed as if we were buying a movie ticket. It was our first time here, and hopefully the last. The service was terrible and extremely slow. A complete disregard for someone else’s pain.

I took my son to the ER 2 days ago and was there for 5 hours and they told me my sons small intestines was inflamed. Enteritis! But told me to follow up with our pediatrician and gave him nothing for pain or the inflammation! I can’t get in to my pediatrician for another 2 days and his pain is so bad! So they told me to take him to urgent care! I came here and they was fast, we was in and out within 25 minutes! And they prescribed him some steroids! I really hope this helps. But thankful something was atleast done!

I've been coming to this clinic for some time and have always had a positive experience—until today. After waiting in the exam room for over an hour with no update, I left to check in at the front desk. The office was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and the front desk staff seemed genuinely surprised that I hadn't been seen yet. When the provider finally came in, she appeared annoyed and was extremely rude and dismissive. She said “ so, what’s wrong” It felt like she hadn’t even looked at my chart, asking the exact same questions the staff member who roomed me had already asked (who, to be clear, was wonderful) regarding my history, symptoms, etc. I work in healthcare myself, so I fully understand the pressures of urgent care. I went in because I needed stitches in my hand. I was in and out in less than an hour. They were very kind and considerate. I went in today to get my stitches out and was there less than 10 minutes. If you ever need to be seen at a convenient care I would recommend them. They were great.
