I fell on Sunday and got pretty banged up so I went to the urgent care. After a pretty long wait I was called in and "Irish" did the routine check in. That was about 9 AM. She told me the doctors don't come in until 10 AM. Not good Kaiser. You make people who often are healthy wait around with those who are sick. You do this at the Pharmacy all the time,, even when a doctor has sent a prescription in in advance.. I was told my sick wife's prescription would take 30 to 40 minutes to fill when her doctor had already put it in. So healthy me has to sit in your germy waiting area. I don't call that Healthcare, I call that sabatoging your members health. I call that your job security.

Kaiser Permanente Santa Clarita Medical Offices 2 – Urgent Care is extremely inconsistent in quality of care, and that inconsistency can put patients at serious risk. I have been to this urgent care multiple times. On occasion, the care is adequate. However, when the clinic is busy, patient concerns are frequently dismissed. Providers appear to focus on what they assume the issue is, rather than performing a proper evaluation. This approach is unsafe and unacceptable in a medical setting. During one visit, I was told my symptoms were “just the flu,” advised not to worry, and instructed to take over-the-counter flu medication—without a thorough evaluation. My concerns were minimized, and no meaningful assessment was done despite ongoing symptoms. Because my condition continued to worsen,

I don’t know what happened over the past few years but it seems like the quality of care has just gotten so much worse. Even if you make an appointment for urgent care, expect over a two hour wait, just to get someone that doesn’t care about your wellbeing and won’t do anything to help you. It seems like every time I come here, it’s to pay a co-pay to hear what I already know, and not get helped. The PA didn’t even bother to hear me out and wanted to argue about the type of diagnostic tests I need, automatically saying “we don’t do that here” I am also a clinician and find it absurd that I have to go to such great lengths to get any type of care, and for advocating for my care, the PA ends up leaving me saying he won’t examine me, and goes on to the next patient. Matthew (Front Desk) and Ozzie (Radiology Tech) MUST be commended!! Never have I experienced the Service provider by these two top Notch Employees at Kaiser! Kaiser, Whatever You do, Do NOT let these two Gentleman go! They are the Champions of the Healthcare field, as are a good majority of your doctors, nurses and various staff!! Keep it up and Maybe we will all be Healthy, Happy and 'THRIVE' in 2020!!

Their policy of caring for customers/patients is what makes this place excel. Their staff is very polite and helpful, and these installations are modern in a "European" way.
