Urgent Care for Kids | Fort Worth - Hulen

We have used this office a few times for its intended purpose… urgent care. Not necessarily in place of a PCP. For broken bones and head gashes…. In both instances the nurses and doctors have been calm and friendly. We went in today for possible stitches first thing on a Saturday morning. The wait was about 15 minutes even with an appointment… was $155 for cash pay. The initial nurse getting the weight, height, BP, and oxygen was super sweet to my little 5 year old and the doctor on staff today (I can’t for the life of me remember her name) was very sweet to us! Encouraging us as parents and giving us the “risks” or benefits of each option. The kids get a little ducky and sticker on the way out which they of course appreciate! Honestly they took 30 minutes after my appointment time to get me in a room. After everything was pretty fast and probably only took like 20 minutes while my son got diagnosed and cheked out. The staff was friendly and supportive.

appointment scheduling was very flexible and easy to make. We got there about 15 to 20 minutes early and it wasn't crowded or really anybody in there at all maybe like one family at a time. The front desk people were pretty sweet and attentive. Everything checked out great and My son was seen. He is autistic and he has his good and bad days with behavior. He was very anxious about getting his swab done to see if he had strep throat and he was not having it at all. The nurse and doctor were extremely patient and understanding and worked together to get his test done, which came back negative, thankfully! Our experience this particular visit was very pleasant, quick, easy. In and out. We were only in to confirm an ear infection so it wasn't an acute illness and my daughter wasn't in pain or anything so the management of her symptoms was simple. BUT based on our experience today, I'd return if we were in need of urgent care.

This location is my go-to for suddenly sick kiddos!The providers and nurses are always so friendly and comforting when I bring in my son. They definitely get you in and out as quickly as possible and they always get it right! I would totally recommend them for providing care for those things that aren’t quite emergent, but need additional help to make your child feel better.
