Urgent Care Center at Heritage

Took my husband here today because he cut his hand pretty badly with hedge trimmers. This place was already over 30 minutes from our house. When we get there they tell us they don’t do sutures. What type of urgent care does not do sutures? This is a walk-in clinic at best, NOT an urgent care facility. There is no urgency in this area and it is quite frustrating.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel like I should warn others. My husband’s visit with Dr. Oliver was very disappointing. He spoke to my husband in a belittling way and came across as arrogant. My husband answered the questions honestly, yet he was treated like he wasn’t being truthful, which was upsetting and unnecessary. He left feeling disrespected, and we will not be returning. Two stars only because the nurse was excellent—kind, professional, and respectful.

Dr Cook was an all around EXCELLENT Doc! Very grateful to have good care and kindness. I hope if we need care again that we get him and we will definitely make this our future walk in clinic from now on because of him!

Dr. Oliver should not be a doctor period. My partner came in TWICE today . COVID and Strep throat is what he said he had. Dr. Oliver gave him one medication our pharmacist didn’t even have. No steroid shot, no nothing. He worked all day and was so sick that he went from his place of business directly back to UCC. Upon returning, no one was there and the nurses were having a party. Laughing, cackling, and not paying attention to anyone but themselves. My partner had to literally scream “HELP ME”!! “PLEASE , HELP ME”!! Dr. Oliver finally came out and prescribed him Amoxicillin. Only Amoxicillin. That was it. I am flabbergasted that this doctor totally dismissed him. Dr. Oliver treated him like he was used gum on the bottom of his shoe. My partner is so polite, caring, compassionate and kind.

Been going here for over a decade. Always have great care! I like all the doctors and they always help our family from stitches, sprained ankles, to covid and strep. I highly recommend Cullman Urgent Care!
