UR Medicine – Jones Memorial Hospital

I am so thankful to have the Jones ER here in our community. The staff including Nurse Bobbie and NP Kevin were incredibly kind and attentive. Everyone was kind. Every single person seemed to care deeply about us. I truly appreciate the person centered and compassionate care.

So i had to rewrite this review in light of no longer being in outrageous pain... thank due to Jones emergency room daytime crew. A doctor by the name of Mark. And his assistant i forget her name but she was wonderful 🥹 Not only did they adress what I had been asking with a seeming understanding as if it were themselves in that position...but they also went beyond that in the most sincerely humbling way. These people really care about their patients and their jobs. 100% thank you! As far as it goes with my review on Lindsey. The night shift doctor that had me heated. Hopefully things get better for you.

Very, very long wait times. The emergency room has 11 chairs total, not even kidding. Go pretty much any day and it'll be a 2-5 hour wait at the emergency room. People bleeding out, people complaining of severe/critical pain, literal appendages missing... all just waiting in the er. Its almost comical how bad it is. I would honestly describe it as more of an urgent care. I don't know how legally it can be a hospital, with such a tiny emergency room. Other complaints too, but to much to list. I don't know honestly how this place hasn't been investigated by the state.

Excellent nurses- kind caring professional helpful understanding. Hospital staff very polite. Rooms exceptionally clean. Surgeon outstanding.

I’m sure everyone is doing the best they can here , but I do not feel that I am getting the care I was hoping for. I have been in pain and uncomfortable for my entire stay. In retrospect, I must admit I was having a bad day back then. I need to resolve this by saying that Jones Memorial is actually a fine institution and we are lucky to have it here in Wellsville. I can especially recommend the Lab, they are the best.
