UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care

All the staff was extremely patient. We had a who family visit with my husband, two girls, and myself. The receptionist was very patient and helped us navigate technical issues and getting us checked in. They've started taking most insurances which is extremely helpful. Physicians Assistant Jason Rogers assisted us all. He took his time, was thorough, made sure to talk through different options for our ailments, was so kind, and answered any and all questions we could come up with. Most importantly they all took us seriously and didn't brush off any of our concerns. It felt like they really cared and weren't just there to get us in and out or collect a paycheck. I will never step foot in this facility again! First off the Dr. was a pleasure but the nurse was very rude and as we left, the dirty scowl that she gave to my 18 year old son was shameful. When we walled into that clinic there was no one in the waiting room and one other car in the parking lot. We sat there for ever waiting for our strep results. We saw the Dr. for literally 5 min tops for the entire visit and I was billed $399 just to walk in the door! Go to Med Express or Faster Care and the cost is $125!! When I called to question, I asked the rate was if I didn't have insurance and it would have been cheaper for me to pay out of pocket! And that is why insurance costs so much! I was feeling so bad when I got there, they were so friendly and efficient. They treated me so well while I was in pain. I cannot thank enough the good way they made me feel. They were patient and friendly. Great people. I'm glad to have them in the neighbourhood. Thanks

I booked save my spot for 8am and doors were unlocked at like 7:47am. I know they don't open til however I don't have heat in my car so I went in and planned to sit in waiting area until they do. Because it's negative 1 out in January. Soon as I walked in one of the ladies instead of saying good morning goes we don't open til 8am. I said I know if have no heat in my car. Like geez she could have been more professional or friendly and said good morning we don't open til 8 but your welcome to wait in waiting area until we can assist you. And this is why I always go to the one in Natrona heights. They are super friendly and have great customer service.

I normally begrudgingly go here but I must say, after Medexpress sold out and it became UMPC Urgent Care, I was impressed. The PA, Larissa (can’t remember her last name was awesome! The PA that saw me two days later - the same! This facility was fast, thorough and I really felt comfortable with the quality of care. Tommy Boy!
