Visiting from Florida: my son lives in Pittsburgh he had an appointment in this Location is very nice just like some locations in Pittsburgh. But lot's of the people walk like zombies or like they are stressed out maybe scared. In Florida 90% of the Floridians say good morning,Hello, how are you. I did that every day of the 30 days I was visiting Pittsburgh, some people looked at me like if I was crazy some were afraid others like if they were zombies even some wanted to fight. I'm never visiting Pittsburgh again Easton PA was much nicer the people were very nice.

Had my second procedure today, and this experience mirrored the first one I had a year ago: I was treated with care and consideration at all levels, from signing in at reception until leaving the unit after completion of the procedure. My comfort and anxiety were addressed properly, my questions were answered clearly, and various types of help were offered before I had to ask, as personnel (both those assigned to me and those not) anticipated my needs. My physician, Dr. R, was extraordinarily good both professionally and personally. He is responsible for using his knowledge and skill to help me survive my disease as long and as well as possible, and I am very pleased with all aspects of his care. I've been a patient here for over 20 years. Dr. R was my Dr for Crohns. Unfortunately he left UPMC. That was a huge loss. He was the BEST. I see Dr. S now. I'm quite satisfied with him. He's knowledgeable, professional, attentive and offers options. During procedures I was treated with dignity. The team was always professional and efficient. This center offers excellent free IBD educational events open to the public. I am very pleased with this office.

returning patient. when I scheduled a return appointment with these folks I was treated, defined as a 'new patient.' They couldn't or wouldn't schedule me with my original physician. Doc showed up on a timely basis (another doc). He promptly dumped me on a resident, I assume. She spent half hour with me then left presumably for a consult with the doc. Half hour later neither of them had returned. I left without treatment.

My son had been treated here. They are impossible to reach. None of the medications worked. No new tests were requested. Communication was a nightmare because the portal did not connect to the right drs. They won't send his medical records to the new dr for 4 to 6 weeks for an unknown reason. Not helpful in any kind of way. THey are a constipated mess.
