UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics – Squirrel Hill

I have 2 children who have been seen at this practice since they were born, and we have had nothing but exceptional experiences. They see Dr Ahn and Dr Voigt, who are both wonderful - they listen intently to all of our concerns and questions and patiently talk through everything. They are wonderful with my children and make them feel super comfortable. We moved to the South Hills and continue to drive to this practice because we adore the doctors here. My children have also seen a host of other doctors for same-day appointments, and have yet to have a bad experience with any of them. We use the nurse hotline quite a bit, and usually chat with Dana, who always gives great advice and helps us work through anything we are dealing with. "Staff" from the front so rude. They talked arrogantly, and unpleasantly. It was an unpleasant experience, cheap advice on psychology, without any solution to the problems. Unprofessional and unethical in relation to customers. 🙅🏻‍♂️

Dr. Parker is an excellent doctor and my grandson took right to her. She reassured me about my concerns and listened to my concerns. Her professionalism is a great asset.

I tried to make an appointment for my daughter because Dr.Wolfson came so highly recommended. The office staff was incredibly rude. They refused to make an appointment for my daughter because we already have a pcp. I stated we would gladly transfer for our records and that we just wanted to make sure my daughter was comfortable and this was a good fit. The staff told me "we don't do second opinions here." I replied this wasn't for a second opinion and I was hoping for this to be our pcp, but again just wanted one initial well visit before agreeing to that. The staff again refused. I am incredibly disappointed with the situation.

The nurses and physicians are all wonderful. They are very patient and listen to both your and your child’s concerns. Easy to schedule appointments and are very good about following up with phone calls. The office staff is hit or miss. Some are very rude, others are very nice. I have had issues with insurance billing. All in all, I can deal with the office staff because the physicians are so good.
