University Pediatric Group

I've been coming here for years, and while my doctor is great, the customer service at the front desk has gone downhill. The receptionists used to be empathetic, but now they’re short with patients and even roll their eyes. I understand there may be a wait, but a little kindness goes a long way. If you're a walk-in, you'd be better off going to Urgent Care—I recommend the one in East Orange. You're in and out much faster, and the staff has a much better attitude. Unfortunately, I’m now searching for a new pediatrician.

horrible and rude receptionist. I was waiting for hours even though they made the appointment for me without telling me and then lied about a reschedule date 4 months later. When they had availability the same week. The doctor is good but staff and customer service suck! Do not go.

Honestly Dr Thompson deserves at 5 start review but SHANDA the front desk lady is EXTREMELY rude and has no costumer service manners ! , you can be standing in front of her for like 20 min and she won’t acknowledge you until you speak and even if you speak “saying hi” she won’t answer! But would answer her coworkers while they talk about lunch and other non work related things, How is this possible that such disrespectful person can work at a CHILDS office!!? DO BETTER !!! If you don’t want to work in costumer service , DONT!

Waiting on there a whole hour then moved me to fast track stuck in there for countless hours have to keep begging to get seen, it’s like only one person working in fast track & I’m so hungry coming from a long day at work into this, a patient can be half sick & seeking to get better but the timing will just make that patient even worst!!! This is so inconvenient & terrible! Whose managing this hospital needs to be more serious with the nurses & doctors please people need help to get better not worst!

Like the doctors but OMG the staff is just so disorganized ! You call asking for a walk in doctor and they say “ you can come” when you get here - Sorry mom, there’s no walk in doctor available” this happened to me twice! And today I had an appt that they scheduled 2 months ago, I got there on time and wait for more than a hour! They called me saying that the appt was scheduled by mistake and I should come back on july. really ? you guys need to take this job more serious
