University Pediatric Associates

The receptionist is absolutely nasty. Working in a pediatrics office you would expect that she would be caring, but she asked me if I have filled out papers for my son, and I said no. She didn’t say his name or anything and brought me papers, and basically said I was dumb because he was a patient at the other office. Like how was I supposed to know he didn’t need to fill out paper work at this office, nor did she ask me anything other than has he filled out paperwork. Didn’t ask what he was there for or anything. I filled them out and brought them up and she said that. Like are you joking? Her demeanor is absolutely HORRIBLE. Something needs to be done as there are other reviews about this too. Everyone else was great. She was older and I’m pretty sure she had white hair, but don’t quote

terrible...waited too long to be seen, went looking for nurse to see what was taking so long, nurse was in her office way in the back of the clinic playing on her phone. They stick you in a tiny undecorated exam room and close the door. no one checks on you and the room is so God awful hot my child and I had to crack the window in the middle of winter. Doctors are good and very nice, receptionists are friendly and helpful, the nursing staff was inattentive and aloof. The waiting room is not welcoming for children and there's not even a tv. even worse when the nurse takes your vital signs the door to her office is left wide open so everyone can see and hear whatever goes on in there. Also there was no soap in the bathroom.

Casey was very thorough, answered our questions in detail. Explained the reason why we were there to my 12 yr. old and answered her questions. She gave her a description of what she was doing to which part or the anatomy she was examining and why, what function is played in our body, how it was connected and associated with the other parts of her anatomy and the reason they were connected in association with her metabolism, other organs, and her brain. She was very nice and very thoughtful in her explanation to a child, never getting impatient and took all the time we needed without rushing us out like cattle in a stock pen! (Like so many Dr. offices are like these days because they seem to think their time is so much more important than ours! Not the case with Casey. Now as a pre-emptor,

Got there early and didn't have to wait long at all. Nurses were very nice. The Dr. was amazing, and took the time to listen to concerns. Very good about ordering lab work, and making sure treatment was understood.

Actually currently still waiting for my appointments from 4:45 and 5:00...it's currently 6:12. Unprofessional, no one is nice to you, or friendly, clearly no one wants to be there, and to top it all off, they're using Dial-up for internet. Insanely slow. Insanely unprofessional. Wasted all of my time
