I had an MRI done for a neck fracture with a head concussion. The nurse was so RUDE! I did all the steps I needed to do it slow because of dizziness. The nurse started walking ahead of me a great distance quickly. I got dizzy nearly falling over, had a handle bar not been on the wall I would’ve gone down. I couldn’t keep up with her, I was so dizzy, I had to stop and bend over. She told me to keep coming in a firm voice. I managed to get to the room. I got on the bed squeezing my eyes shut. She asked why are you doing that. I said I have a head concussion, oh well they didn’t tell me that. It’s in my chart. After the MRI she wanted to know why I am not in a c-collar. I told her about my er experience. She got upset you need to be in a c-collar. Worst experience ever getting an MRI, about f

If I could give them no stars I would! I had an MRCP scheduled, I’m beyond claustrophobic and so they had me call my doctor and she prescribed 2 pills and hour before my appointment and then 1 when I get there. They placed my line, and back to the waiting room I went! I was so sleepy, but 3 yes 3 hours later they take me back! I’m freaking out at this point and the tech told me to basically quit being a cry baby. She said I could squeeze the bulb and she would be right there! It never happened, I couldn’t even get them to take the blanket off of me! NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE GIVEN! I Gave the ball a squeeze AND YOU GUESSED IT SHE NEVER CAME IN AND TOOK FOREVER TO TALK TO ME! I would avoid this place at all cost! They need to hire people who genuinely care, not people showing up to get paid!

I get all my MRIs here and always have the best and kindest care

I have to have at least 2 MRI's a year due to an on-going problem and I get them all at the U. I've had nothing but amazing experiences and excellent care. I had one today and the staff were very caring and considerate and helpful. I think the people leaving bad reviews must just be "Karen's"

I would say the radiology dept needs a little help training their Nurses: my son had a CT scan done today and having been in the field before the insertion of needles has its tricks. My son got a bruised vein : my son has big veins so this should have not been the case: my son shared that when the needle was being placed the needle was not piercing (which means the needle was not in proper position) extra training always helps The intake admins were helpful by providing tips to prepare for the appointment.
