University of Maryland Urgent Care - Glen Burnie

Came in with my partner for a medical emergency. Gabrielle at the front desk was both professional and kind, keeping our spirits up and moving my partner along quickly to get seen by the doc. Zach saw her, and was also very kind and professional, and got her stitched up and feeling better as fast as possible. Not only that, but Gabrielle and Zach were very helpful in accomodating us when we forgot our insurance cards, helping us out along every step of the way to get my lovely partner feeling better. Have not had a better medical experience in Maryland yet!

Came in with a cut on my hand and was stitched up (6) and out the door in an hour. Staff was very welcoming and personable. I almost don’t want to tell people about it because it seems like a hidden gem!!

Brought my son in for a cut on his lip. He received two stitches that fell out within three hours. I’ve called and spoken with someone three different times about the situation as well as the bill for services that were not performed satisfactorily, but have yet to receive a call back from the “right” person to assist. I’ve learned my lesson and will never go to urgent care for a facial wound again. Also won’t be returning to this location. Editing to add that I sent an email, as instructed below, but have yet to receive a response over the course of 3 full business days. I'll update the review if a response is received.

Best care I’ve received in a long time. They were great at diagnosing & treating my kidney infection. They even called me twice over the next several days to see how I was doing. I wish I got this kind of care from my primary.

EDIT on 2/2/26 I wanted to give this facility a second chance after the medical director called and spoke with me regarding my concerns. She was empathetic and reassuring my concerns would be addressed. It is convenient and close to me. I called to ask what providers are practicing today in hopes to be seen. Of course I would have trepidations being seen by Zach after the poor experience I had and did not feel comfortable announcing my dissatisfaction with him again after 7 months. I thought I would simply not go if the staff told me he was one of the providers working today. I was told by front desk and then team lead jade that they could not give that information. I told them I had a concern with a provider in the past and did not feel that I should have to announce that to see if I felt
