I have never in my life been hospitalized before, until now. I have been here for over an entire week due to frontal lobe seizures, and I don’t even get seizures. They’re still trying to find the cause. They’ve done MRIs and CT scans and everything in between. I’ve seen nurses, doctors, attendees, even social workers. Each and every single one of them has nothing short of nice. They’ve answered all my questions and boy have they attentive with their services. I am BEYOND pleased with their services and I wish there was a way I could thank them each individually. I want to show my gratitude like I said for each and every single of them. Pros: Surgeon performed surgery at a facility with all medical requirement for my father. ICU staff responded quickly to matters when my father needed it. Internal Medicine floor had nurses that were also quick to respond to matters quickly and efficiently. Some doctors were efficient. Wound Care and Respiratory Therapists is phenomenal. Cons: Lack of consistency for Physical Therapists and Speech Pathologists. Radiologist who observed the Modified Barium Swallow Study should have stopped immediately when my dad was not alert, not participating and bleeding from his surgery site. He could have stopped all these spiraling events that followed. Amongst case managements and doctors, proper explanation for SNF and IRF should be educated. A Disappointing Hospital Experience with Sympathy for Overburdened Staff My recent hospital stay was an eye-opening experience that highlighted both the urgency of emergency care and the unfortunate realities of an overburdened healthcare system. I arrived via ambulance, which allowed me to bypass the long wait for an ER room—an aspect I deeply appreciated. However, despite providing my identification, I was labeled as a Jane Doe, and my hospital bracelet was never updated correctly, even after multiple polite requests. As a military patient under Tricare insurance, I expected my case to receive appropriate attention, but that never happened. I would like to give 5 stars to the morning JAVA team, Wendy, Elizabeth, Christina and Monica, they are simply the best! They always go above and beyond to make costumers happy and satisfied providing excellent costumer service. I wish these four ladies may be recognized for the excellent job they provide on a daily basis.

The doctors have no idea what they are doing. I just needed water and was told I could not leave for 3 days. The response to this review is a joke. My review does not pertain to me waiting in a waiting room. It relates to me being forced to stay at UMC for no good reason. UMC cant even give a genuine response instead they just have AI do it for them.
