University Medical Center of El Paso - Dieter Pharmacy

I would like to preface this and say I usually am very lazy and do not take the time to write a review, but I am so upset that I'm making the effort. To start, I called in a refill for my prescription on Friday. I was aware they would have to order it. I had enough of my medication to take the last dose on Tuesday. 4 days would be plenty of time, it apparently was not. 1. The girl I spoke to on the phone lied to me and said the insurance would not cover it until Tuesday. Insurances pay days before you run out so obvious it was not true. I was aware the pharmacy was closed on Monday so I don't know if she was just trying to get out of having to do work but that is so unprofessional. 2. I asked for a copy of my prescription for records. It was not to fill it at another pharmacy and did no

I was sent a text message from Dieter that my prescription was ready. I called this location and after an hour of they not answering I hung up. I called Ysleta and I asked what medication was ready for me to pick up at Dieter since they didn't answer me at Dieter: they said they couldn't tell me. That I had to call Dieter. So I was transferred to Dieter. So I waited on my mobile for 2 hrs and ½ trying to find out what I had ready in the pharmacy. I finally gave up and hung up. So I called Ysleta which is the one closest to me. I explained the situation but this time they actually t gave me the name of the medication that I had ready at Dieter. So 3 hrs and ½ just to get a response. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture from the first hour. And yes I posted the same thing at Dieter.

I have been visiting most of UMC facilites since 2016! They have treated me quite well ever since. There have been a couple of times that I may not have been completely satisfied, but again, only 1 or 2 times. At the end they have all come through for me as well as for my husband.

This place needs to be opened on the freaking weekend!!! It messes up my medication dates cause you guys are closed on Saturday and Sunday!! Please fix that!!! It's unprofessional and every other pharmacy are open on the weekend. It is so upsetting how this medical company works.
