I go here for all my orthopedic needs and my last I saw Dr. McCormack he is very well mannered and listens and polite he made me feel safe with surgery and what the possibilities would be. I had microfracture surgery and I'm very thankful he listened and got to the real issuse of my knee problems unlike other Dr that wouldn't do anything for me but keep pumping steroids in knee. I highly Recommend Dr. McCormack to anyone. Stand up amazing Dr. Also if you need shoulder work Dr Chil is definitely the one to see. He takes good care of me through my shoulder issues over the years and I Recommend him good manner and listens and takes all your health needs into consideration with is awesome I have multiple autoimmune disorders that could effect outcomes so it's comforting know he thinks of every

After 20ish years of knee pain, I was diagnosed with runners knee by a resident before he even viewed my x-rays, which he told me. He kept bringing up injuries that "must have happened" that never did. I was given a Google print out of wall exercises, and only saw my doctor for long enough for her to ask if I had been given the Google exercises. It was pretty clear I was just there so a bill could be sent to my insurance company.

Doctors are awesome, office staff horrible. Spent an hour and 20 minutes on hold waiting to make an appointment and still no one answered.

I'm getting ready for knee replacement surgery on both knees by Dr. McCormack. So far everyone there are great people. I've been getting cortisone shots every 3 months and last month I was given the gel injection (hyaluronic acid) these student Dr.s have always done a good job with every procedure I have had done there at the Lee's Summit University Health Center (formerly Truman Medical Center East) and I have had quite a few of them over the years. Unfortunately I must have the surgery done now but I will make sure that I update my post.

Had ACL reconstruction with Dr. McCormack. Surgery went fine, no complications. Everything post op has been horrible. During each of my post op appointments I'd come in with a list of questions, I'd ask the first question, he'd answer then he'd be up out of his chair with his hand on the door trying to leave. I'd have to ask for him to wait each time I'd ask more than one question, then I'd be flustered and have to call back later with all my additional questions. He hasn't explained why he delayed me starting physical therapy or working on re-establishing my range of motion and make jokes about me needed to have a second surgery because I'm "behind" in meeting the flexion goals. I'm sure he's a very good surgeon, but his bed side manner is wildly dissapointing.
