University Dental Associates Hawthorne

At one point in time I really liked this dentist office. Over the last 4 years they havent been able to keep the same dental hygienists between visits. I never have the same dentist, and they say because they havent found a new provider yet, they've been looking for a new dentist the whole time Ive been there.

Went to get cavities filled and they still hurt as if no work was done. After I had my cavity filled, i went back and I told the dentist that my teeth were still hurting. The dentist checked one tooth while I was numb so I couldn’t feel if it hurt or not. Now I’ll have to find a better dentist to fix the work he did. Also I struggle to see how helpful they are when they have to keep billing for something they should have checked with my insurance before they did any work. Feels so unprofessional and unfair that I’m still struggling. I could never trust anyone in this office again.

Great staff Jennifer, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Bill neighbors informed me on my dental care and created a dental plan that corrects Previous dental work From another dental office who did a horrible job. I haven’t started my care plan yet but after this first appointment I’m certain they’ll handle my dental needs. 10/10 I’ll post another review after my last appointment on my dental plan.

Excellent experience today at my first appointment. Their front office staff were so friendly and really set the tone, which is always appreciated during a bright and early visit. Once I got back for my cleaning and exam, the hygienist Jennifer, her assistant Megan, and Dr. Dand were all lovely. You really couldn't ask for better care, the people at this practice clearly put their heart into what they do. I came in with a TMJ flare happening and each person was incredibly thoughtful throughout my visit, stopping to ask how my jaw was feeling. Dr. Dand was thorough in asking about my experiences to ensure she was able to make helpful recommendations to reduce my overall pain and come up with a good treatment plan.
