I have been a patient here for five years and overall everything is very professional. This practice offers a number of therapies and procedures, so if one thing isn’t very helpful for your problem, the doctors and NPs here are genuinely concerned and motivated to figure out what else might be available to help improve your quality of life. In my experience, the physician staff is highly experienced, ethical and compassionate. I would not hesitate to recommend UPM.

This place is getting worse through the years. I have two insurances: Medicare and Anthem Blue Cross. And I still get charged only to get my prescriptions over the phone. I don’t know what is going on with insurances these days but they need to cover us at least when we don’t have procedures. I have an appointment today and Cristy and Vanessa called me from Universal Pain Management telling me that my card wasn’t charged last month because it was declined. I have been out of the country and the bank had to put a hold on my visa just in case since I didn’t intend to use it until coming back. So that’s why they didn’t get the payments. Transfered here and now Dr. Doesn't listen seems more interested on cutting medication than treating me. If something is working why change it. I literally spent 3 weeks curled up in fetal position on elbows and knees with skin rubbing off bleeding because I could not move from any other position or sleep in excruciating crying pain and Doctor is more concerned with cutting medication and telling me I'm not that bad. I want to start by saying I am not one who does reviews, but I think it is warranted. I have been a patient with universal for 15 plus years. Prior to becoming a patient with them I was with another doctor who in my opinion was a legalized drug dealer. When I came into universal for an interview, I ended up interviewing the Doctor because I didn't want to be a patient at a placed that didn't care about their patients and just wanted to give them drugs to shut them up. By the end of my interview with Doctor Sadik I ended up answering all of his questions by asking mine and I was very comfortable and confident that they wanted to help me and not just shut me up. Being in constant pain is unbearable at times, but with the help of Dr. Kohan and his remarkable staff its been tolerable. I've been treated with every avenue to help me with my chronic pain. The front desk staff is great and always makes appointments to suit you. There is literally no wait time. I sign in and I'm seen within 5 minutes. Dr. Kohan takes his time with me and he always tries to find ways to help me deal with my pain. I know I'll never be cured of my pain but Universal Pain Management is doing their very best to help me cope and live. The staff always shows compassion and understanding.
