Unitek College Fremont Campus

My experience with Unitek College has been very disappointing. The school seems more focused on collecting tuition payments than supporting students’ learning. In several instances, instructors accused students of cheating without clear evidence. Even when students did not use outside sources, they were still given a zero for entire quizzes. This approach feels unfair and discouraging for students who are genuinely trying to learn. Instead of helping students improve, the system seems designed to penalize them quickly. Education should be about teaching and supporting students, not making them feel like they are being treated unfairly after paying high tuition. I strongly recommend that prospective students research carefully before enrolling.

Shawn is excellent at what he does. After one phone call where I shared that I was job searching, he immediately got to work and sent me multiple job opportunities. He also spent time making sure I was fully prepared for interviews by conducting mock interviews and offering helpful feedback. Within a month, I was hired. Without Shawn’s help, I would likely still be jobless, stressed and searching. Thank you Shawn, for all your help!

I have recently attended Unitek college, by far it was a good start until when things changed right after the first semester ended. The instructor wasn’t being too nice to nobody and was being unfair with some of her classmates. She was supporting the cheaters instead of the students who didn’t cheat.They just want their money and leave you hanging like nothing really happened to the students whom wanted to try really hard to pass. I would never suggest anyone to attend Unitek unless you are ready for your money to be taken for granted. I hope the director knows about why we never went back to this school.

Should've been a 1 star if I have to be 100%. I do not like posting bad reviews but I do it for the honesty so that the readers can decide for themselves. I did graduate from Unitek Fremont some time ago and a few months after the fact, I still haven't received my ATT number which clears you to take your NCLEX. I feel as if it's held as a bargaining chip and a way for them to hold you under their thumb! I know the School want's you to pass but it's not for your continued success but to make the school look good and for funding. I feel once you passed all necessary requirements and you get the thumbs up from the board, you should automatically be able to schedule your exam. This is beyond unacceptable and I cannot wait till I'm completely done with the school and the handful of instructors

Unitek College was definitely a great experience. I highly recommend it to those who are serious about being in the health care field. Not only do you get many different hands on skills training, but you also get wonderful clinical experiences. The instructors here are very knowledgeable, caring, and supportive of your success. Do not hesitate to reach out to any of them if you need the extra support because they all are willing to help you out. All I can say is this is a fast-paced program and if you decide to go here, get ready ready to be put to work because there's a lot to learn but it's worth it when you finish.
