UNC Orthopaedics at Panther Creek

Appointments have been with Amanda and she does great hearing me out. Everyone has been polite at the facility, helpful and cordial. I will say the staff member that took my foot x ray, was not very nice. It seemed as if having to take the x ray was an inconvenience to her. Other than that and them not providing patients water, good experience so far.

I saw Amanda Dombrowski here for a small fracture in my ankle bone. She was knowledgeable and her bed side manor was excellent. I was seen very quickly. The aid who led me in was excellent. Very empathetic and competent folks. Excellent service. It was in my top two experiences at an ortho, for sure. I think Amanda's personal trainer was a little fat phobic but hid it pretty well and was also kind an knowledgable. Other wise I’d say the experience was perfect, I’d highly recommend these guys.

I absolutely love this place! My primary care doctor moved from Sanford to here a few years ago. I drive an hour to keep seeing her. Since then I was referred to an Ortho doctor there that also is amazing! Did I mention the pharmacy? They are so helpful and always have the medication I need in stock. The staff in the lab are great too. I'm so glad to have this connection to have my healthcare needs met.

I went here because of severe pain. The receptionists at the front desk were laughing at me, and telling me to “fix my attitude,” because I was groaning from the level 10 pain. They also use physician’s assistants / nurse practitioners, in place of medical doctors. Their knowledge isn’t even close to an actual physician, but you’re still charged the same amount on your insurance. If you’re interested in poor care, this is the place to go.

There was a long wait at the UNC ortho urgent care on 54 and I-40 and it was late Friday afternoon after I picked up my daughter from school following a freak wrist injury in PE. The receptionist at the busier location called over to the Panther Creek location ahead of us to alert them of our pending arrival. It was very close to 5pm but the staff quickly got us back, got an XRay and confirmed a wrist fracture. They grabbed us a splint and had us scheduled for follow up in no time. The staff was also quite understanding when my daughter who is very athletic was a little tearful that she would be restricted from several activities. We will definitely head over there for our urgent care ortho needs, it is an underutilized gem. Thanks to all the great staff.
