UNC Internal Medicine at Panther Creek

I have been coming here for several years. However, after recently testing positive for latent TB, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rasmus. To my surprise, I received a call from her office informing me that I should seek treatment through the health department and that the doctor would not be seeing me. I found this response abrupt and very disappointing to decline to treat, especially coming from a healthcare provider at UNC Hospital. As a result, I have changed my primary care provider.

UNC owes me NOTHING !! I’ve always been comfortable and felt welcomed since I made a transfer there all midwives/nurses are absolutely the best team and ACTUALLY CARE about your well being & will comfort you with any concerns looking forward to being apart of the PEDIATRIC care as well very much recommended for new upcoming mommies (:

Went there for a physical, and because I answer yes to some their “Do you have any other concerns” , it’s classified as a regular visit instead of a physical and were charge $300+ out of pocket fee. I appreciate it, it seems like my money just fall out of the sky to pay for these bills huh.

cancelling appointment less than 24 h prior to the visit. The next available date is 2 weeks later!

Only one nurse working in the lab. Incredibly slow and not enough room for all the patients to ensure adequate social distancing.
