On December 14, 2025, around 10:00 p.m., I arrived at the emergency room because my 4-year-old daughter was sick. I understand that sometimes everything can be very busy; however, when we were called in and I entered with my daughter—whom I was carrying in my arms, asleep because she was clearly sick and exhausted—they took us to the end of the hallway where there was a bed and an improvised chair. I noticed that another stretcher was occupied, but shortly afterward it was assigned a room. After me, two different patients came in and were taken directly to rooms. I was sitting on the chair because I obviously could not lie down with my daughter on the stretcher. I waited 15 minutes and no one approached us. When I finally saw that all the nurses were sitting, I went over to them and, very

Eli Coleman MD deserves an award for his astonishing incompetence and disregard for patient wellness. He spent more time arguing with me over how much pain I was in rather than examining me for anything. He came in and told me that my doctors lied to me about an injury and said that I was uninjured and told me if I have any more pain to just take Tylenol and ibuprofen as if that’s not something that people do BEFORE COMING TO THE ER IN THE FIRST PLACE. Eli Coleman MD is the specific reason I will no longer be seeking care at this hospital or any UNC hospitals in the future if I can help it. He has set the precedent that UNC hospitals do not care about patients wellness just how fast they can get patients out the door.

Tracy, Amber, Dr. Cook & Sally, thank you so much for taking care of our family. Thank you for your compassion, quick thinking and genuine concern for our precious baby girl. God bless yall!

Terrible. Rude. They have a big sign in the emergency room that says top performance award.I don't know where or when they got that.It might have been 20 years ago or 10 years ago.Whenever it was built because I do remember it being much better than it is now.I would never go there again. I left before I was seen, because people coming in after me were being seen before me.I had severe sciatic back pain , and I was given a metal , hard wheelchair. Waited for 3 hours in pain, as did another patient.Neither one of us were seen and I finally left. You're not going to get my money when you treat people like that.I'll give my money to someone who actually shows they care. The triage nurse was also rude. Clayton is expanding , maybe they need to expand their hospital so that it can actually

This review is specific to the Labor and Delivery Unit: this is my second time giving birth at this hospital. It is honestly so clean and new. The rooms are giant! The entire staff was kind and friendly! I was induced both times and had an easy delivery with no complications and the staff kept me encouraged and upbeat the entire time, even when in a crazy amount of pain from contractions and epidural needles! I would just like to say thank you to everyone that helped me throughout my entire stay. I tried to remember everyone’s names because second time around I saw a lot of familiar faces. So thank you to Cheyanne, the 2 Ashley’s, Tasha, Katelyn, Emmy, Leslie and more! The lactation specialist Shannon was so knowledgeable I appreciate her so much! And thank you to Yolanda who always made s
