I was worried due to the negative reviews but even though there was many people we were seen extremely fast. I was able to set up a payment plan along with letting me know where to pick up my meds and they were extremely cheap. They were joking and nice when I was nervous for shots and made the whole ripped off nail process so much easier. The nurse practitioner and nice old white nurse were extremely nice and patient! Would def recommend!

Two stars is because everyone is super nice. The front desk ladies are nice the nurse and NP were nice (I did not see a Dr), but unfortunately I have never gotten proper health care here. You will pay the $50 to have nothing useful happen. We don’t have an urgent care open on weekends where I live so we come here 2+ hrs out of town but I’ll never be coming again. I went when I was 8.5 month pregnant thinking I had a UTI, I was likely in labor, they didn’t even talk to me about this possibility. Husband went twice with pain in his back and around the front, a month later we discovered it was a kidney stone but they had sent him away twice with muscle relaxant. I just brought my little in for possible RSV or pneumonia… RSV was negative but NP said her lungs sounded fine. I should have reques

I hate going here and I don’t plan on going anymore. Every time i’ve gone I have had to wait a MINIMUM of 3 hours. I went recently with extreme stomach and back pain and had to sit there from 12:15 to 3:10 in agony. Once I was finally seen, the nurse told me I would receive a dose of medication before being released to go home and get my prescription from the pharmacy. I was told I would receive my medicine and to wait in the room at 2:35. It wasn’t until I made my own decision to just walk out and leave at 3:10 because I was sitting there WAITING while in so much pain. I get that sometimes UMC is busy but it wasn’t even that busy that day. I am just so over having to be there for HOURS just to be seen.

The nurse Hispanic female barely took any information or interacted with us. I informed her that my husband has a history of high blood pressure and currently had a fever, yet the only plan was to give him Tylenol. We had to request testing for COVID, flu, and strep ourselves, and she appeared visibly annoyed by the request. Although these tests typically take about 15 minutes, we have been waiting around two hours for the results and yet we may just leave. I don’t understand how UMC Urgent Care at the main hospital operates with such excessive wait times. This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

I had to go in for an urgent matter relating to a chronic medical condition. The first nurse was very hands off didn’t want to take anytime to see why I was there or what was happening. Then the NP came in and instead of listening to what was happening to me, she rushed to tell me that because she has treated conditions similar to mine she knew more than I did regarding the condition. She was rude and wasn’t even worth speaking to. She never gave her name and she spent a total of 4minutes in the room. After that I was more upset because of the way the NP treated me a very kind nurse (the only kind one) came in with some injections and was great about explaining what they were and was truly kind. Out of that horrible visit at 3am in the morning no one ever expects to have to use urgent care
