UMC Northeast Emergency Department

Is been 2 times that they tell me I am negative in covid send me home and I go somewhere else and is positive, then when I get in my patient portal it says inconclusive (NOT NEGATIVE) they should at least let you know is inconclusive so you can find a way to treat yourself. Now is too late cant treat it and I have a pre excited condition. SMH. They just want to get rid of you.

I went yesterday, I was having a minor asthma attack. Will I was waitting in the lobby with shortness of breath and more I received discharge papers. I received discharge papers in the patients portal without even being seen. How do you discharge soneone without seeing them first? Or even having a diagnosis? I wasn't even given a room. Most importantly, I was even given a breathing treatment. The Dr or nurse didn't even listen to my lungs. Told them my hypoglycemia was out of control all day. I checked my glucose prior and it was at 64. They didn't even check my glucose level. No labs or urine test. Super unsatisfied. I always go there never has it been this bad.

The nurses and physician at UMC ER were kind and empathetic, and we truly appreciated their care. Unfortunately, receptionist Delilah Gonzalez was extremely rude and unwelcoming to my wife and me. We also witnessed her treating an older lady with the same lack of courtesy. Her attitude made us and others feel disrespected from the moment we arrived. First impressions matter, and hers was very disappointing.

First the lady taking vitals is rude telling me about that i have no excuse for not having insurance and not been able to see a primary doctor second i tell her my issue and she seems that im lying about why im at the hospital. Then Waited almost 3 hours and new shift comes and nurse starts calling people back to rooms and I ask her when was i gonna be called she said she didn't know and she didn't even care to ask for my name ..I told her i was there before all these people you are calling back to rooms.

Wow !!! After reading so many negative reviews and comments, how is this place not under some sort of investigation or something. Have some state officials do an audit or something because if There’s so many complaints towards staff and service that should be addressed asap! People should not experience this type of treatment and service especially when in need of medical assistance.
