UMass Memorial Medical Center - Adult Primary Care

I am writing this to file a complaint regarding my appointment with Dr. Stephanie Denise Sison on 11/03/25 at UMass Memorial. I scheduled this visit specifically for an ADHD evaluation, as I have been struggling with symptoms such as difficulty focusing, low energy, and problems with sustained attention. I also informed Dr. Sison that my sister has already been diagnosed with ADHD, and I came prepared to discuss my symptoms openly. Instead of conducting or referring me for an appropriate ADHD evaluation, Dr. Sison required a drug test and then instructed me to go to the emergency room, a setting that does not and cannot provide ADHD diagnostic assessments. This decision was inappropriate, clinically unjustified, and caused me to miss work unnecessarily after I had clearly communicated my

I highly recommend this location. The doctors are very knowledgeable and are superb at dealing with patients. It is incredibly convenient having nearly all of my doctors in one location. The biggest thing for me is that the doctors genuinely care about their patients and will listen to your concerns.

The receptionist is so rude tried to ask if they were accepting new patients gave me attitude said no and practically hung up on me
