Staff was unprofessional and careless. Went in due to syncope amd low bp. Was sent to a room, ignored for 4 hours. Blood pressure dropped substantially over 30pts in 2 hours. All I was told was no heart attack and no pulmonary embolism. When I looked in my mychart the information was all wrong stating I was there for chest pain. When I wasnt. Staff there has no shame speaking poorly of other patients amd privacy is a joke. The expectation of having no modesty is sickening. I wouldnt trust them to do a check up on my dog, let alone a family member
Left feeling more anxious and violated than before I arrived. This was a horrible experience and it's made me never want to go to another Dr again. I just wanted help and instead was treated badly. The Dr didn't listen or care about anything I told her. I feel violated. I gave deeply personal information. I'm very sad after this appointment. I have no faith in our medical system.
My friend had surgery here 7 days ago. She has not had a shower during her entire stay. She asked if there was any way she could get a shower, and was taken to "the shower room". Once there, she was told "the shower room is broke". I went the following day to visit, and expressed my concern that her morale was very low, due to many other goings on with TWO other staff members there that day, and that a shower would be one small thing we could do to try and make her feel better. I was told, "the hot water doesn't work, and there's no other place for her to shower"...really?? REALLY?? No place in this entire, huge hospital, that a person can take a shower?? I told them that I would take her anywhere in the hospital and give her a shower myself. No nurses staff needed to take the time out to
Monday morning I went in because my water broke, the Labor and Delivery department was absolutely amazing, they made sure I was okay and reacted to my concerns I had, I had my daughter Tuesday morning and my nurses made my experience the best it could be and made it so my dad could come see me. I was then transferred to the maternity unit and that's when my entire experience flipped and it was all my worst nightmares coming true at once. I was in maternity from Tuesday to Thursday and not one nurse or anyone offer me a shower or anything to clean my self with after giving birth to a child, they told me there's postpartum products I could use if I wanted to but didn't even instruct me on how to use any of them. And not one nurse offered me or my fiancé anything to eat or drink unless it was
Review for L&D + Maternity: I went in for a voluntary induction, that turned into a voluntary C-Section. And from start to finish, my nurses were absolutely amazing. Because let’s be real: NURSES ARE WHO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE. Shout out to- Nora, Erica, Jamie, Autumn, Casey, Jess, Kaitlyn, Alexa, Nadia, Kaleena, and Rebecca (I’m sorry if I’m missing names, and it took so long for me to make this post((Late October baby)) . They all were kind, funny, supportive, and really listened to me. They made the experience so special to me with their professionalism and bedside manner that it made me feel like I was amongst friends instead of having a major surgery/baby. With my past experiences from nurses after getting into maternity I felt more like a incubator/vessel that was no longer important
