UHealth Jackson Urgent Care | Doral

Very disappointing experience. My wife was originally scheduled for an 11:00 AM appointment, but we were called and asked to reschedule to 1:00 PM, which was already a major inconvenience. Despite arriving on time for the rescheduled appointment, she ended up waiting over 1.5 hours to be seen. This shows a complete lack of respect for patients’ time. Poor scheduling, poor communication, and unacceptable wait times. We expected much better from UHealth University Commons.

I went in, most of the staff were nice. Checking in is quite annoying especially when you’re sick. When the doctor came in his entire demeanor was i don’t want to be here. He was adamant i can be discharged despite me feeling horrible. He said i was technically hydrated bc my bp was 132/91, which is completely wrong. Now it’s the next day i somehow feel even worse. Wherever that doctor got his license needs to be checked. It’s ridiculous how i know what i need better than the doctor. He was definitely in a rush to get me out of there and barely payed any mind to my symptoms. He took the word of the nurse instead of me telling him what i feel. Like he relied on the word of the person that isn’t the one that’s sick! Worst doctor on the planet!

The place is nice and clean . But the wait times aren’t normal . How can someone take over 1 hour just be registered ? And not only that they have 1 person in front desk which makes the process even slower , and it doesn’t help that the front desk staff is always in a mood . In total over 2 hours and a half for simple look at my leg .

I had an amazing experience at the urgent care – it was clean, pleasant, and well organized. Nurse Ronnie was simply outstanding – calm, reassuring, and answered all my questions, even beyond what was required. Highly recommended!

Janine, Jeremiah, Raul, Rista, and Dr. Villaverde went above and beyond to make me feel truly cared for—like royalty. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made all the difference. I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding service and genuine kindness they showed me.
