Had to get a last min EKG today before catching an international flight, and wasn’t aware that they are closed for an hour during lunch. I was starving but decided to wait for 40 mins outside of the room as I was short on time. One of the technicians (couple rooms right to EKG check-in) David asked if I needed help. After finding out I had a flight to catch soon, he called the technician and found out she left for lunch. He asked me to go get food and told me where would have food in the building. I still waited because I was very short on time. Seeing me still sitting there, he asked for my name and went to talk to the check in kiosk and the technician who just came back. He got my IDs and told me they could help me 20 mins before they were scheduled to open regularly. What David did was

Warning⚠️☣️ MRI? They do not have gadopiclenol. They use older contrast w/ 2x the Gd. UC Davis has this safer MRI contrast.

The single most expensive place to get an mri in the entire city. 7x more expensive than the cheapest place. Unless you have a set copay or money to burn AVOID.
