Dr. Omar Abdelatey gave me my smile and confidence back, and I couldn’t be more thankful. From the extractions to getting my new teeth, everything was explained clearly and done smoothly. He was professional, patient, and truly cared about my comfort the entire time. I finally feel confident smiling again. UConn Health is a great place to get dental care, and I’m really grateful to Dr. Abdelatey for the amazing work he did.

Don’t recommend GI Or Orthopedic . 1. Orthopedic left me with a dislocated shoulder for months and refused to do better service I had to go get a second opinion to find out my shoulder was dislocated beside been diagnosed with frozen shoulder. 2 GI I was receiving service for 8 years and also they neglected my health that a second doctor did the right service and found a hearnia on my stomach and had to rush get surgery. I refuse to get other services besides my primary care doctor she’s the best from this hospital.

I had an excellent experience at the dental clinic with Dr. Omar Abdelatey. From the start, he took the time to listen to my concerns and immediately put me at ease. I came in with significant jaw pain and anxiety related to dental visits, and Dr. Abdelatey was calm, patient, and very thorough throughout the entire process.

I checked my blood pressure on the morning of 12/19/2025 and found it to be 218 over 127. I drove up to UConn Medical Center, where I had some bloodwork done. I had a minor stroke a while back, so I try to keep an eye on it. They wanted to admit me, but I had to be home to feed my mother and my cats, so I chose to go back home. After I fed my mother and my cats, I was eating when the phone rang. I answered it, and it was a Doctor from John Dempsey Medical Center (UConn). He told me that the results came back from the bloodwork tests, which showed many abnormalities. He told me to return immediately to the hospital as I was having an "acute kidney failure" that could, along with the high blood pressure, cause a major heart attack. I had the best experience during my treatment with my dentist Dr. Omar Abdelatey. He explained every step clearly and carried himself with remarkable professionalism. I normally feel anxious about dental visits, yet my experience with Dr. Abdelatey changed that completely. He was comforting throughout the entire appointment and created an environment where I felt genuinely cared for. I am grateful for the level of attention and skill he provided.
