Customer Reviews
Very pleased to have this location available and have used it many times, especially on the weekend when I cannot get into see my regular physician. The doctors staffing this location are helpful and efficient. My only complaint is that the front desk seems completely unaware of HIPAA. Everyone who comes to be seen has to announce their medical situation to the entire waiting room as the front desk woman asks “why are you needing to be seen” I appreciate that it is a very small space so that it is impossible to have a private check in desk but perhaps ask people to write on a piece of paper their malady. Granted my daughters sinus infection is not top secret but still, this type of reception does not seem in keeping with medical privacy laws, customs and practices and this clinic could fin
We walked in around 9am. and only waited 10 minutes to be seen! There is a mask dispenser that all patients were wearing inside the main waiting room. My husband had a chest cough. Dr Vance Washington, per my husband was super nice and thorough. He took his time to rule out other possibilities of infection or diseases and reviewed my husband's medical history. My husband was very pleased and impressed with this UCLA Immediate Care office. P.S. as a follow up to my husband's appointment Dr. Vance Washington emailed and asked how my husband was feeling the following day. That is true patient care! Thank you!
I was nervous to go here bc of the reviews but I had a solid experience. The website said it was 50 minutes or less to be seen but I got there at 9 am and was done with the doctor and leaving the office at 9:30 am. I had good communication with everyone I spoke with: front desk, nurse and doctor. And I was charged with a co-pay like a normal doctor visit. I didn’t know what to expect. I had to come here because my pcp at ucla isn’t established- I’m waiting for that appt. But I would come again.
The worst medical experience of my life. I have never encountered such a negligent, dismissive, and disorganized urgent care facility. From the moment I arrived, the doctor was rude, condescending, and clearly uninterested in actually listening to my symptoms. I was offered basic treatments—a shot, a heating pad—that were never provided until I had to ask repeatedly. Only after complaining, 30 minutes later, did I receive the shot—because the doctor forgot to order it. She dismissed my condition entirely, refused to prescribe antibiotics despite clear need, and sent me home worse than when I walked in. I ended up sicker, having wasted three hours of my day and paid for the privilege. When I called back in desperation, the staff—completely inept—gave me the runaround and refused to help. T
I saw Dr. Vance Washington today and he was great! I was impressed! I hope everyone gets a chance to experience such quality patient care and impressionable treatment when find yourself suddenly in his presence. He was concerned about my condition and very knowledgeable about the proper treatment options. Most important, he was completely engaged in our conversation and that made me feel better which uplifted my spirits. I even had to go back in to the examination room and grab my walking cane because I forgot about it upon exiting the room. Lol. P.S. He's just a great Dr. :)
