Dr. Sturich was dismissive, I told him I had the treatment twice before and it hadn’t worked, he gave it to me again and sent me on my way, I went on a ten day antibiotics cycle again and it didn’t work. Maybe he was having a bad day, he had a very bad vibe to him. Wish I got Elsea like I usually do.

First, I need to shine a light on Bobbi Triplett- best blood draw of my life- I barely felt anything. She is a wizard with a needle. Second, Dr Plesa is personable, knowledgeable, good listener, up to date with the medical community. Lastly, the office was on time with my appt, front desk seemed organized. I did take the time to set up a my chart account on uclahealth.org, maybe that made my experience smooth compared to some of these other reviews, but I would recommend this office for your health care

I showed up and the receptionist said she couldn’t find my appointment in their system, which I was very confused by. She proceeded to tell me it was cancelled the other day. I was baffled because I didn’t receive any notification of the cancellation. She claimed that she called and left a voicemail the other day, but I have no record of it in my phone. Even still, I was surprised that they didn’t email, text, or even try to call me again to inform me of the cancellation. She said the reason for the cancellation was because my insurance didn’t work with UCLA Medical Group and told me to fix the issue directly with my insurance company. I was assigned Dr Janina Jose as my PCP by my insurance I have had multiple visits regarding her need to physically weigh me in her office for a GLP medication that I have been stably on for the past 1.5 year with a very experienced different provider who provided full medication history to this office. First visit 7/10/2025 - My weight recorded in her office - 122lb 4.8oz. Second Visit 8/4/2025 - My weight recorded in her office - 122lb. ( She claimed I’m losing too much weight my weight fluctuated by 4.8oz ) so she made it mandatory for me to physically come for another appointment into her office to get weighed in order to get a refill as she only called one months medication supply for me. They called to say my intake appointment was incorrectly scheduled, no apology or explanation. Then said that doctor doesn’t have availability till October. I went through the process of scheduling with another doctor, then they had a problem reading the insurance info I submitted and said I was “ineligible.” I know they take my insurance so I don’t know what happened, it’s possible their system had trouble reading my temporary card because we have new insurance, but they could have just looked at the file I sent.
