Hello my name is Marisol... I am currently at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital & Medical Center... I came into the ER for a abdominal pain that felt like needles puncturing inside... Upon being at the ER for 11 long hours ... the ER Doctor informed me I had pneumonia in my left lung & also infection he explained I would need to stay at the hospital for 3 days to receive antibiotics and treatment so the lung pneumonia doesn't turn into a mass and would need surgery. I waited hours for a room to available & at around 4 am on January 27th I was transferred to a room , everything was being checked and I was given medication 💊 to relieve the pain... at 11:50 am a Male African American Dr. Menon came in to let me know I was gonna be discharged because I am young and "my body will heal faster,
You better hope to God your loved ones don’t get Nurse June. I’ve never seen someone so unprofessional and unsympathetic. She’s an older Vietnamese nurse with short hair. At the start of her shift, my mother was on the commode going #2. When she finished, another nurse came in to assist with cleaning and getting her back into bed. Shortly after getting back into bed, my mother urinated on herself. Then Nurse June came in with an attitude, rambling about how my mother shouldn’t be at the hospital and that she needed to be in a nursing home. She kept saying they don’t have the capacity to care for someone like her. My mother has been in the hospital for a week and is currently dealing with sores and raw wounds in that area. Despite that, June decided not to put her external catheter back o
I’m writing this because my family is still heartbroken, and I feel like people should know about our experience. My grandma started having a really hard time breathing and was also complaining about pain in her stomach and chest. Our family took her to Fountain Valley Hospital because we were worried something serious was wrong. They kept her overnight, and the next day they discharged her with some antibiotics, saying it was for stomach pain. Two days later she was wheezing badly and struggling just to breathe. She was taken by ambulance to Anaheim Hospital, and there the doctors and nurses actually ran tests and scans right away. That’s when we found out she had a severe case of pneumonia. Ambulance took my husband to ER FV on 12/30/2025, even though I was requested to take him to Memorial care, they declined. He stayed there for 3 hours, but the doctor could not find out he had a stroke. There is no MRI, no Citi Scan records. 2 days later after discharged, he failed while trying to go to the restroom. At this time I took him by myself to the Memorial care hospital. After the MRI doctor said he had a stroke!
This place is amazing. The entire staff here is amazing. I came here because I was having a heart attack. I was able to park my car and walk to the emergency entrance. I told the lady there that I was pretty sure I was having a heart attack and I was immediately taken into the back and was in the ICU before I knew it. I was told I would need triple bypass surgery because my arteries were 90 % blocked . Everyone in this place was absolutely incredible. All of the nurses in the ICU made me feel like I was their top priority..Patrick Shannon Brittany (Naom) not sure if I spelled that right... you were all awesome. I can't remember all the names but the ICU staff as a whole you were all stellar and made me and my family so comfortable. Thank you !! The nursing staff upstairs was also amaz
