UCI Health Dermatology Services

So disappointed to once again have students examine me without me having a choice. The resident Dr and Rachel the "student doctor" didn't wash their hands, sanitize or wear gloves. When I asked for the "Doctor", Rachel said they were to do the preliminary exam. Her questions were classroom, inexperienced, nonsense questions. It was a very upsetting appointment. I will not be returning to UCI for further treatments. Months of testing, Dr appts and as of today, everything is still unclear and no definitive answers.

How can you be treated by these doctors when the first available appointment is six months out? By the time you get to see one of the UCI doctors you will die of infection or die of skin cancer. I had the medical staff message the doctors office because you have to play phone tag. You can never speak to the actual doctors office only a customer service type call center. And then they will message the doctors office and have the doctors office call you back. Ridiculous way to do things, but there’s no way around it with this facility so the doctors office calls me back because I have a painful skin issue and the soonest availability they can do is for October 2024 and we are in the beginning of June 2024? What a joke why even bother calling me back? I will literally get full-blown skin ca
