UCHealth Urgent Care - Steele Street

Lisa Boykin, PA is an awful provider. Do not expect compassion or any comprehensive medical decision making based on how your medical condition or medical history impacts your ability to take certain medications. When Lisa was informed of potential negative outcomes from taking the medication she suggested she had no alternatives although there are alternatives. She needed me to tell her how to consider other options and left the room in a rush to go look them up. When asked for a simple bag of fluids for some hydration she sent a tech to do an orthostatic test that was done incorrectly and she denied fluids because it was “normal”. We left since we had zero confidence that she knew what she was doing. She gave no diagnosis, no discharge paperwork, and no follow up instructions. Substanda

I can’t even think of a cleaner more politely staffed clinic. Def use this urgent care if you don’t feel well. They make it super easy to navigate for your first time in.

If I could give this place a 10, I’d! I want to cry from how grateful I am for the care I received here. From the reception ladies to the nurse Elijah and doctor Andrea — everyone was kind, respectful, and understanding. They helped me with a very sensitive issue and made me feel safe and cared for. The process was so easy — I booked online, had no wait, and was in and out in about an hour. I’m self-paid, so pricing transparency is fantastic, and they even have a pharmacy on site so got my prescription there as well. Thank you to the entire team for treating me with such compassion and professionalism. I’ll never forget how well I was cared for. 💛

Horrific experience! Visited 2/6/26-no issues. Required more potent prescription so called 2/8/26. Was informed a provider would call in another prescription and then contact me to inform what they called in. Pretty simple. When I failed to hear from anyone after 2 hours I called to follow up. Firstly, I was lied to. Jolene claimed she called in a prescription but when I asked for the time the pharmacy confirmed receipt she backtracked-informing I needed to come in (despite being told otherwise). When I inquired why I was getting the run around Sita put me on hold. Unbeknownst to Sita, she failed to place me on hold. Instead I could hear her complaining about me to her colleague. I made an appointment in advance via the UC Health app and was updated about when to come. This was helpful because I was in pain and could stay at home until I needed to leave. There is plenty of parking. The staff were all kind and caring. The medical staff were knowledgeable.
