UCHealth Urgent Care - Prospect

Having to visit Urgent Care can make you nervous so to be greeted by lovely smiling, reassuring ladies at Reception makes you relax and feel calmer. Then having your Vitals taken by a lovely bright and efficient nurse unwinds you a bit more. Finally to be talked through your test results by an extremly pleasant gentlemam with a clarity i have never experienced before is very reassuring. I would say Thank You so much to all the team i encountered on this visit and i can assure you you will get their total focus and attention and follow up guidance.

5 stars for the staff who helped us, specifically our technician Jordan. I would give 0 stars if I could to the PA, Christopher Ellis, I would. He had the worst bedside manner of any medical professional I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. He was trying to joke with my husband and I around a clearly sensitive subject and had no regard for our emotions. He also was not knowledgeable of my relevant medical history and it was clear he took no effort to read through my chart before walking in the room.

Great front desk staff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, especially Tara, she's awesome! And I had great experiences with the PA and doctor who helped me. They were both patient, kind, and very gentle with my eardrum 😁

Went in with sore throat, shortness of breath type symptoms. They conducted a battery of tests but not a covid or strep test which they apparently did not have… sent me to the emergency room up the road and of course for a simple visit I am out several thousand. Really unfortunate that a walk in clinic that has an xray machine can’t have Covid or strep tests and that to get these services you need to pay premium prices. Would not recommend going here. If you’re sick enough, save the cost of urgent care and just go to the hospital, they’ll send you there anyways.

Really great urgent care experience. Everyone was friendly, and Mike treated me with care and concern, even calling my ENT to understand the full story and collaborate on treatment. He got me some prescriptions to get my pain and infection managed quickly, and I felt very heard and validated and supported. Would definitely recommend this location.
