This is my first time on Saturday. It's snowy, wet and very cold outside this morning. They were out shoveling the sidewalks, putting down salt and making sure it was safe to walk in. Because I didn't know the protocol on Saturday I headed straight to the infusion room... I was greeted by Mrs. Jennifer. She asked me if I had check in with registration. I told her no I didn't know I had to. She told me to sit down for a minute and wait. I turned around and went to the front to check in. She had came back looking for me with a wheel chair.. awwww so sweet because my right heel is hurting badly and she could tell it was a struggle... I went to the registration desk and Lauren greeted me. She was so pleasant and welcoming. She check me and I headed back to the infusion room. When I arrive

I recently had an amazing experience at this hospital. I had flown from Turkey and got back Saturday night on Sunday morning I had severe chest pains, and I went into the hospital and I was diagnosed with a heart attack when I was on the cardiac unit there was a lady by the name of Stephanie. She was the head nurse there and I’m 58 years old and I’ve been to the hospitals a few times and in all my life she was the nicest person I’ve ever dealt with in a hospital. She was remarkable and kind. You don’t meet many people it’s as extraordinary as her thank you I really do appreciate everything you did. they ought to pay you 10 times but your salary is because your kindness is worth every penny

I recently went here last month because I had a bad reaction to a new medication. It made me extremely suicidal. The positive is that the hospital is clean and well organized. I understand staffing, but I have documented trauma in the UCHealth system and they had about 4 or 5 men surrounding me when they took me back. The male nurse said I would have to strip down to my underwear and that I would have to remove my bra to change into paper scrubs, all in front of a ton of male workers. I had to beg for them to give me privacy to change into scrubs. I found that very insensitive and when I asked if I could talk to a female as I have trauma with men, the nurse said in a snippy tone “Well, I’m your nurse tonight”. I understand that there was more male staff on duty that night, but the attitude

While not a professional, I have significant medical background. I found the care to be substandard with a prevailing attitude of careless indifference [Third floor.] Soon after surgery, I had reason to believe that I was suffering from a serious post-surgery condition, and despite my requests, crabby Nurse Natalie refused to take a minute or two to assess me. Or explain anything about it. I felt unsafe the entire time I was there, trying to keep my wits about me to prevent their errors from harming me. No one on the floor seemed to know what I was there for. My surgery required a special technique for getting me out of bed. When they told me to get up, and I couldn’t. they were going to pull me up by my arms, and I had to tell them to follow X procedures and Y technique. They were like

I was there at the end of December through January 5th. Overall, my stay was good. The nurses Christian, Danielle, and others were very helpful. The CNA's were helpful as well. I just wished there were two nurses assigned to the floor or wing I was in, because it was busy, and it took a while, sometimes kind of a while for me to get my medication. But I know they are busy with other patients in other rooms. I wish somehow the heater worked in my room, I had to ask for several blankets. My view of pikes peak was great out of my window. It was also nice having the chairs for me to sit in, when I got tired of laying in bed, and for my visitors to have chairs to sit in. Overall, my experience was good!
