UCHealth Broomfield Hospital

From admission to visit these folks know how to welcome patients. I truly appreciated their hospital(ilty) and speed whilst helping my family member. If you find yourself with Nurse (I believe nurse, if I am wrong I am sorry) Jennifer, you are in both great and hight-hearted hands! Dr. Baker was quick and honest as well, I truly appreciate this hospital.

Went this morning for a blood draw. My daughter received a kidney transplant as a child and we have recently graduated to an adult nephrologist. This was our first attempt at what will be on-going test maintenance for her. We arrived when they opened just after 8 am. The test has to be done within a certain amount of time from her last dose. We were told a 30 minute wait. At 8:45 we were told their "internet" was down so they couldn't do any draws until it was back up. We could wait or come back "later". We waited until 9:30 which is when the window for her test was over and they still couldn't help us. We now have to come back another morning and hope for a better result? I had an appointment to get blood drawn for lab work at their laboratory. The people who actually did the blood draw were wonderful. However, despite receiving an estimate for "Lab work at a UCHealth laboratory" for ~$20, I was informed after receiving my bill that all work is billed as "hospital work" and the cost, after insurance, was $236. My case is now under review, but I don't recommend anyone go to this location.

The ER department is amazing. Got me in right away for an asthma attack. They fixed me up and had me outta there in 2 hours. My son had went in for a concussion and we also had an excellent experience. Thanks so much to all the wonderful staff. I'm very grateful.

Had my hip replaced there a few days ago. Everyone that I came into contact with was excellent! Totally professional, yet kind and caring. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Love the staff there!
