If I could give them a -5 I would they don't deserve the one I had to leave so I can let people know how rude and unprofessional Dr Price and his nurse Candace McLeod. First of all because at the time I was in active SAD I was treated like dirt harassed by Candace or more than one occasion. To the point I I was thrown into an anxiety attack and refused anymore interactions with her . Dr Price now here's the worse part never was I ever offered help or aods services I was left alone treated like dirt with active Myelomalacia and myelopathy knowing that I had already waited months to get to surgery I was kicked out on the day of surgery by Dr Price and told my perception was off because I being an addict without any services offered or referrals I tested dirty the day of surgery. Couldn't agree more with the other 1 star reviews here. The wait and non communication is the worst of ever seen. Such an insult to the UC Davis name. New patients expect 3 months minimum to get an initial appointment.

I had Dr. Alan Martin and his team of many preform T9- Pelvic spinal fusion on me, I was 67, had a 12 hour-ish surgery.. I’m now 10 months post op and me, my family and friends are amazed of my results.. I’ve been BLESSED by my team as I belong to a few Scoliosis blogs and Senior spinal fusion support groups.. The whole process has been great, nurses, staff and doctors.. I’m amazed to be standing straight and pain free.. Thank you again to Dr. Martin and PA Cheryl Shirley and UC Davis Spine Center staff. ❤️

Saw Dr Martin as new patient and he was great to explain he busy but still took time to see me yes I had to wait but worth it he neurosurgeon it’s good that he busy means he great at what he does thank you Dr Martin for taking time to explain surgery I need looking forward to it .

Recently had a multilevel neck fusion performed by Dr. Martin — he did a fantastic job. Contrary to other reviews, I found him to be nothing but nice, thoughtful, and to have a very good bedside manner, giving me more time and attention than he needed to. I do not dismiss anyone else's experience — doctors are well known for arrogant and dismissive behavior — I'm just saying I encountered none of that. Again, I don't want to dismiss or discredit anyone else's experience. From my decade of working in hospitals, I’ve found that approaching medical staff with patience and respect often leads to a better experience in return. That said, not every situation is within the patient's control — sometimes bad experiences happen no matter what — but I personally encountered nothing but kindness here
