UAB St. Vincent’s Blount–Emergency

Every employee I spoke to was rude and only let me explain half of my problem before I could finish a sentence. I told them I had a recent incident That affected my brain and basic motor skills (even explained how I had to reteach myself to walk), I sat in a room for a while with out any treatment or care. They asked me to do lab work Wich I agreed to but then explained I don’t wanna keep getting poked and peeing in cups just for me to be sent home and no one check on the actual issue so I then asked if my doctor was even planning on checking my head or doing any sort of brain scans and I was told they wont do anything until I pee in a cup, I expressed my concern of being sent home without anyone checking on my head because I’m scared of having another seizure and having 2 in one week caus

Went there in agonizing pain for two impacted infected teeth that had my head throbbing— Got treated less then human and nothing for the pain (besides Tylenol, like huh? Common sense that won’t do anything.) don’t really recommend if they aren’t going to be humane enough to care to help.

Sat and waited for 4 hours while the doctors and nurses were talking before even getting examined. The doctor then only talked to me for about 3 minutes and then I had to wait another 30 before I could go home.

Nurse Susan in the ER was very rude to my dad and raised her voice almost yelling at him twice. My dad was in critical condition and going to be transferred to st Vincent east but she upset him so bad by treating him like an inconvenience. Her exact words were "I've got 400 other things I got to do." Then she left the room and started complaining to her coworkers loudly. Disgusting behavior and very unprofessional. Ill be filing a complaint.

Against my better judgment after i had come here 3 years earlier and dr grace was my doctor there and misdiagnosed me and wanted me to take a test that would of ended my pregnancy I took my son here (yes the same one doctor grace wanted end with a with unnecessary test) we had a different doctor this time because he dislocated his elbow (nursemaid elbow) and i couldn't pop it back in place myself, Waited 3 hours before someone even called us back just to ask me questions and then made this poor kid in pain sit in the waiting room for another 3+ hours finally he gets a room. Another 20 or 30 mins goes by these 2 wonderful nurse come in get him situated check his vitals.
