Uab Pediatric Surgery

My daughter had an epidural hematoma and had to have brain surgery. Dr. Johnston was her neurosurgeon and he was the best. I was terrified and he was very reassuring and calming. I know they deal with these types of injuries everyday but most people dont in their life so it can really be a lot. He was very thorough, explained everything he was doing and had done. He was so great with her as well she was scared and he did his best trying to make sure she knew everything would be okay. The team of nurses we had were extraordinary.
