Customer Reviews
★★★★★ I had an outstanding experience with Tschiffely Pharmacy. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to helping me with my prescriptions. The pharmacists were very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain my medications, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt confident in my treatment. Their attention to detail and dedication to patient care was truly impressive. The pharmacy is well organized, efficient, and welcoming. Even during busy times, the team handled everything smoothly and with care. I highly recommend Tschiffely Pharmacy to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and compassionate pharmacy services. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This historic pharmacy is easy to miss being on the bottom floor of an office building near Farragut Square. Started in the 19th century, the pharmacy is small but carries all the basics and then some like toys and snacks.
Tschiffely Pharmacy represents a rare blend of 19th-century tradition and modern clinical precision. Established in 1874 by Frederick A. Tschiffely Jr., the pharmacy has survived the era of chain drugstores by focusing on specialized care that high-volume retailers often overlook. • Longevity: It has operated for over 150 years, originally establishing itself as a premier apothecary on Pennsylvania Avenue before moving to its current K Street vicinity. • Compounding Excellence: While most modern pharmacies only provide pre-manufactured pills, Tschiffely is renowned for pharmaceutical compounding. This is the evidence-based practice of creating custom medications (adjusting strengths, removing allergens, or changing delivery forms) tailored to a specific patient's needs. • A "Trusted Nei
THE PHARMACIST WAS THE RUDEST PERSON IVE EVER SPOKEN TO AND SHOULD NOT BE IN HEALTHCARE!!!! I called politely to ask if there was a prescription available at this location because my pharmacy has been on back order for the past 3 weeks. I was RUDELY CUT OFF and told I would have to be a patient who has filled with the location before. I proceeded by saying no I have not been and he said then I cannot talk to you about the medications we have in stock. I asked how do I go about becoming a patient. Is there a link to send my doctor to complete and send my prescription to be filled. In a disgustingly rude tone, I was told no and that he doesn’t have to talk to me. I proceeded the conversation by asking his name and letting him know that I don’t appreciate his tone. He continued to tell me
Charming and competent. If you're not local to K Street everything is done by human-to-human phone call, which is not my typical preference, but they make it pleasant. The compound I receive from this pharmacy is top tier.
