Make sure you read the date on 3, 4 and 5 star reviews. If this was 8 years ago they would have gotten 5 stars from me because Dr. Reigner was amazing and did great work!! However - he has since retired and there is someone else there now. This last time I came back it wasn't until after I got my procedure done they let me know they were out of network so I had to cover all the costs, they then stated they hadn't finished everything and wanted me to come back - to which I then said I couldn't because they were out of network. The two root canals I had them complete didn't even last 2 years and I'm not going to most likely have to get them redone as chunks keep braking off and falling out.

I really miss Dr. Regnier. He was easy-going and did excellent work. His staff is/was great and knowledgeable and really knew how to put you at ease. This new guy apparently got his education by a mail-order "university" in Guam since his Assistant had to tell him everything! For example, as he is starting to put a drill in my mouth she says, "Do you want to put a cotton roll in there to protect the tongue?" This was the case with every single thing he did; she had to tell him what to do. Pay HER the big bucks because she is the only competent person in the room! I just got a quote from them for over five grand of work. I wouldn't pay this guy $0.25 to wash my car. Run, don't walk, away from this place. Sad, because the staff are great. Dr. Tariq has always done an excellent job for me. His support staff are thoughtful, caring and competent. Highly recommend this practice.

I would 100% recommend Trumansburg Family Dentistry to someone looking for a new dentist! I moved to the area about two years ago and procrastinated on seeing a dentist because I mean c'mon...who likes going to the dentist. I was nervous for my first visit and the staff welcomed me and made me feel at ease. The appointment went smoothly, my dental hygienist was awesome, and Dr. Tariq did a great job as well. I had to come back for a filling and Dr. T and the assistant did a wonderful job again at making me feel comfortable. The procedure was painless and quick, I was in and out in less than an hour. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the negative reviews of this place and am honestly confused by them after visiting this great office.

Just had my first appointment with the new dentist that took over Dr. Regnier's practice. I found him to be very nice and totally competent. I will continue my dental care with this office.
