TriStar Centennial Children's Hospital Emergency Room

The care we received was impeccable to say the least. My son was having breathing issues and the team at TriStar saw us immediately. They were thorough in the explanations of treatments and every single staff member from the nurses to physicians were beyond kind and caring. I truly cannot thank the staff enough.

We were visiting from out of country for a sports tournament when our grandson had a seizure for the first time. It was a horrible and traumatic experience, but the Drs and nurses were amazing. They took great care of our grandson and patiently answered all of our questions. Considering how scary, unfamiliar and unexpected this experience was for us, the hospital did an amazing job at helping us cope.

It’s a place you never want to end up, but if you have to go, this is where you want to be. The staff was so friendly, thorough, and attentive, seeing us immediately and discharging us in a timely manner. The most pleasant version of the experience! Top notch care through and through.

First of all when I walked in, there was no one at the front desk for a while. I stood there at the check in desk until someone finally came to check us in. Thank goodness my child wasn’t having a life threatening emergency because no one would’ve been up there to help. Not to mention the fact we were taken to a room & when I sat my son on the bed, there was medical tape stuck to the sheets from another patient so I’m assuming it’s not a very clean hospital either. Secondly, my son’s pediatrician said to take my son to the emergency room because he had a respiratory infection and was wheezing pretty bad throughout the day. We were seen by 2 doctors during our very brief visit. Was seen for about 5 minutes, the first provider barely listened to my son’s breathing and told they’d be fine to

By far the fastest emergency room experience I’ve ever had. My 8 year old had been under the weather the last few days. He woke up throwing up with some blood in mucus. Took him to the ER at 3am. I was out by 3:45am with a diagnosis and medication sent to pharmacy. Phenomenal job by the nurse Lovelyn Duno and his Physician Dr. Brittany Jones.
