I recently gave birth at TAMC and long story short I could not have asked for a better experience! With all of the OBGYN appointments, centering appointments, labor and delivery, mother baby unit, pediatrician appointments, lactation consultant appointments and postpartum appointments I can honestly say everyone we have come in contact with has been professional, caring and extremely personable! I’ll put it this way, it was all much easier and surprisingly more relaxed than I ever expected being a first time mother. Aside from giving birth, I also want to acknowledge the “Centering Program” they offer too! My husband and I both very much enjoyed the classes and always looked forward to each appointment. Very quick!!! I arrived on a Sunday at 3:47pm. I went to the ER, checked in, met with a nurse, then met with a doctor, and was walking back to my car by 4:06pm. Less than 20 minutes.

I always have a terrible experience here. My PCM was too busy. Could not get me in for an appointment. I actually never have met him in a year of living here. He’s never available. I addressed my concerns they said yeah we’re too busy go to the urgent care. I went to the urgent care on base. About six hours later. I finally got to see someone. I spent two minutes in the room they said we can’t help you just go to the ER. Mind you they didn’t even try they asked And sit me on the side door it’s not like I had anything crazy going on. I had rashes on my body. I ended up going to Queens West ER. Best decision I’ve ever done. Don’t waste your time. Going to tripler or any urgent care on base. I have never felt more cared for, listened to, and Help then I’ve ever done there.

I had an amazing experience at TAMC. Through the entirety of my family and my care which was roughly 3 months. I was medevac’d from Japan due to a hidden pregnancy complication and was coming to TAMC about twice a week until my daughter was born and then every day for a month while she was in the NICU. The staff at TAMC that I encountered were all wonderful, I truly don’t have one negative thing to say about the people they have working here. To highlight a few Mele in the liaison office, Leah in the ADC, Mila in Labor and Delivery, Dr. Tebak, Dr. Marenco and the pediatric surgeon residents, Kerri and Trina with social work and lastly Cassie and the rest of the NICU team. Had a great experience. Was referred from another island for vascular. The staff (Ana) and doctor (Ferguson) took me seriously and advised /performed treatment. I felt like they were compassionate, knowledgeable, and personable. The active duty staff at the liaison office were welcoming and helpful. The active duty members were polite and helpful in directing me and other lost people thru the hospital area. It was nice that the facility has a mini shoppette, post office, cupcake shop, and a starbucks. Traffic getting there is very busy and backed up. I visited twice, both times before 9am and drove an extra half hour just to get thru the gate. Leave early and plan ahead! Close parking gets snatched quickly, you may have to park on one of the lower tiers and walk the steep stairs/hill. I
