I came to er at 8 am today and was soo sick! The er staff were so kind and caring. My nurse Jenifer was great. I left at 4 pm feeling sooo much better Dr Braxton was so down to earth and took time to explain my ailments. This will be my hospital for my family from here on out. Again can’t say enough about Jennifer my nurse!

⭐ 1 Star – Five Hours Waiting, Never Called, Zero Care I arrived at the ER at 6:30 PM seeking emergency medical care. I waited in the waiting room for five full hours. During that time, my name was never called once. At 11:30 PM, after being completely ignored all evening, I finally left—without ever being seen by anyone. Apparently, this ER believes “emergency” means wait indefinitely and hope for the best. No updates. No explanations. No sense of urgency. Just endless waiting while patients are treated like background furniture. If you’re wondering what five hours of medical neglect looks like, this is it. Unprofessional and uncaring. When I originally scheduled, I questioned just the CT only as doctors wanted both a CT and MRI when scheduling. Was only see one oder. My technician questioned why I hadn't scheduled MRI. When I asked up front what happened was told doctors fault second request was towards bottom of orders. I asked isn't it your responsibility to read orders. No reply except shoulder shrug and have to reschedule we're busy. No emphaty no caring nothing. All the girls in imaging at Bethesda Bulter cared about was complaining about not getting snacks like the nurses. Never been treated so badly and dismissed as an idoit before. VERY UPSET!!

I need to shout out RN Darryl F... He has taken care of my grandma in ER so well. Give this man a 99% raise. He is the sweetest most caring nurse I have ever encountered. I will never forget the genuine care that he has provided and I've only been here an hour. Thank you.

when i was a patient here 2 days ago, i overheard several workers in the ER talking VERY loudly about how a patient smelled “so bad” and giggling about it. one staff member chimed in and said “he had a section 8 smell to him” and several other workers laughed with her. this is completely unacceptable, and not how patients should be talked about at all ESPECIALLY by the people who are supposed to be saving our lives. people go to the hospital during difficult parts of their lives and deserve a judgment free space to heal and recover. i’d give it zero stars if i could. this behavior is not acceptable in any capacity. please consider before going here for treatment
