Ok, so I have been using this Pharmacy for years, for myself and family. Its great, convenient, and is considered a military pharmacy. So, Tricare personnel pay nothing for meds. However, it is like any government office, it has procedures and processes. If you take the time to no the process and procedures, everything goes smooth and easy. Staff is nice and easy to work with, just be patient and kind. My advice: 1. Use the call in line to activate new prescriptions, it will tell you when they are ready to pick up.; 2. Use the prescription refill number to order refills (best to do it about a week in advance).; 3. If you need to talk to someone, block off time to wait and be patient. They have a very limited staff. Pharmacy techs are in short supply all over. Best of luck, and, staff ke

Omg! The reviews are correct, this place is horrible. The words can’t explain the horror of this place. Please someone help, the way they treat patients is horrible.

Military pharmacies are a joke. They switched their hours to 330pm - so unless a person does not work or is retired, a full time working person has to use paid time off just to pick up a prescription. Then the whole “get in line” text system is a hurry up and wait process. Once you arrive, when your prescription is ready you still wait for well over an hour before it’s your turn. They make these places so difficult to use with such extreme wait times that people end up going to a civilian pharmacy - but that’s what the government wants so they don’t have to pay as much for the prescriptions. As a veteran Hampton VA is horrible, so I choose to pay copays and go to my own PCM, but it sure would be great if I could at least get my prescriptions at no cost, but to do so, I have to give up paid

I had a prescription in at Boone Clinic and had it transferred to Virginia Beach TPC. Because of the wonderful and totally not awful Q Anywhere system the ticket never got sent to Virginia Beach TPC. After an hour or so I went in and pulled a question ticket to see where the meds were at in the process. The tech who was very nice told me the situation and said she would re submit the meds as urgent. They had it filled in 20mins. Great team of people here.

Normally I have a decent experience at the pharmacy. I went to get pickup a prescription on Wednesday and clinic already closed. Before 1 pm. No cars when I drove by Thursday morning
