I went here for my newborns first appointment and it was terrible! They lied about accepting my insurance and when I showed up forced me to go with health first to avoid payment! Why not tell me this over the phone. Unprofessional!!!!! Made comments to not trust my 6 year old daughter around my newborn. I will not be back and I hate this office. Horrible customer service and try to cancel my appointment when I paid for uber plus 0 degrees outside. The white woman doctor was extremely negative and racist. She kept asking about the father which makes no sense. She had only negative things to say. The exam table was high and she made no effort make sure my newborn was secure. It was DISGUSTING! Have taken our 2 month old to see all three of the doctors in the practice and they are all great. Particularly Dr Bogdan and Tong-Miller are excellent❤️‍🩹

I’m very disappointed with the experience I had at Tribeca Pediatrics Astoria. I was hoping to bring my child here because my son is already a patient and Dr. Stephanie has been wonderful—caring, attentive, and professional. However, the front desk experience has made it impossible for me to continue with this practice. I called ahead to schedule a sick visit, but was never informed that I needed to make a payment in advance. When I arrived, I was told I couldn’t be seen without payment, which caught me completely off guard. The focus at the front desk seemed to be more about payment and time than the health of a child, which I find deeply concerning. To make matters worse, I was also charged $50 for a missed appointment—something I was never clearly told about ahead of time. I understan

I don't normally write Google reviews, but considering this pediatrician's office left me feeling so upset I feel I have no choice but to make others aware. Now while I can say I did not have a bad experience in the moments at the doctors office, there were multiples things that as a first time mom were not mentioned to me nor did I know I needed to be aware of. Thankfully the combination of following my intuition, seeking a specialists opinion as well as moving and needing to get a new pediatrician, these things were brought to my attention and resolved before it was too late. The only good thing about this office is was it was very convenient to my location in Astoria and there was never much of a wait.

I had a wonderful experience. They had toys in the exam room to keep my son occupied and calm before seeing the doctor. The waiting room was nice, spacious and clean. They front desk staff was very considerate and made sure I was seen after missing my appointment time due to traffic. I loved Dr. Gautam, she was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We did not feel rushed, she listened to our concerns and made sure we understood how best to help our son and came to a very good treatment plan going forward. I am very happy and plan on continuing to visit the office. The nurse was also very patient and kind. I would recommend this office to anyone.
