Triangle Office Building at Rush

Arrived 15 minutes early for gyne appointment, was called in 40 minutes later and 1 hour after my arrival, I have been checked-in by the MA but am STILL waiting, not for the doctor, but for the ETA of when the doc will be available. Yet, if you’re late for more than 5 minutes, they make you reschedule. The pic…private hospital or prison?

Doctors are great here. But the experience I had with the phlebotomist at the lab, was horrible. Tameka used a big needle instead of a butterfly needle. She was so unprofessional that she gave me a hematoma on my left arm. There is a report on that. I even had to go the emergency room at Rush hospital because of chest pains, only to encounter a doctor or surgeon by the name of Mahomad to say to me: my dad's hematoma was worser and it took him 1 year to heal and that I should not worry about my chest pain, only to send me on my way. He showed me no true care concerning my chest pain whatsoever. Eventually, after several years (3-4yrs), I feel like it healed, but didn't heal properly. It just took a long time to heal with a diet plan. Chest pain eventually went away.

I had to take 2 buses to get to my appointment. I finally arrive outside the building and the Dr. Ekpenyongs office calls me and says they messed up my scheduled appointment and will have to reschedule. On top of that the next available appointment is 5 MONTHS away. The lady over the phone had no sympathy whatsoever. Why wait for THE DAY OF my appointment to call and tell me there was an error. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. And then they tried to schedule me for the middle of the day like I don’t have a job to be at.

Overall feel for This office building is dirty and many things in need of repair. Waited for 60 minutes in the exam room before the doc showed up.resident did not know where to go to get labs completed.parking lot is cash only.
