Tri-Med Medical Pharmacy

I've been a customer at Tri-Med for about 15 yrs and my experiences are great. My medications are always in stock. Service is quick. The owner, daughter, pharmacist and assistant are amazing. I spent some time in another county and it was faster to have them fill my Rx, than local pharmacies.

This place NEVER has medications in stock and constantly gives the run around. I'm a caregiver and my clients run out of pills CONSTANTLY because of this place. They're common medications that my clients have been on for years (with this pharmacy). They're also the most expensive pharmacy I've ever seen. Medications are 2-6 times what they are elsewhere. I go to pharmacies all over the county and have never seen such outrageous prices. Not to mention they have raised them multiple times on the same medications multiple times in the last few years.

I called TriMed pharmacy to verify the medication before having my doctor submit the prescription. The pharmacy contacted me telling me my doctor is prescribing to much and they didn’t feel comfortable filling the prescription. It shocked me that they feel more knowledgeable than the doctors. Just beware that they are not about helping people they are about controlling the situation. I let them know that being on long term health care for 6 years that I would tell my doctor to cut the prescription in half to play there game knowing I will not be able to function without the medication at all. This didn’t seem to matter to them at all. So they sent me home to suffer when I was dumb enough to think they were hear to help us not hurt us. I called tri med ahead of time to see if they had a medication in hands. they said they did twice. After calling back 4 hours later to see if my prescription was ready , they said they didn’t have the medication on hand. All in all, I’d avoid tri med. there’s plenty of other small mom and pop pharmacy’s that actually act professionally and say what they mean and have better prices. Even big box stores like Walgreens, cvs, and Walmart are better alternatives

Dec.2023- The pharmacies are really cracking down, it was very difficult to find a place that would fill a script for certain meds that I've been getting for an extremely long time. They either won't fill or have added security measures ( Mom & Pop ) comfortable places. It's a crazy situation...But I am thankful to have found this pharmacy Thanks 😊
